Cape Epic is a mountain bike stage race (prologue + 7 stages covering more than 400 miles) held annually in the Western Cape, South Africa, attracting elite professional mountain bikers and amateurs from around the world.  Bikers compete in teams of two that must stay together for the duration of the race.
